Globalization has a very narrow scope in human geog if the teacher sees my 'erosion of native culture' point for its disadvantages as moot. Wtheck la. In our syllabus, it seems to me that the only benefits (or not) from globalization have two main headings, which are economic & political.

Isn't ironic how the social aspect of globalization is somewhat ignored in human geog especially when globalization is a detriment to several societies due to the gross violation of human rights? And how we're studying HUMAN geog.

You know what my teacher called my point? He told the class,"she says that globalization leads to anti-Asian culture, is that true, class? It isn't so it is not a valid point. Next." and then he gave me this smug look.

... right. I NEVER mentioned anything anti-Asian okay? I said something like,"(blah blah) for example, like when some MNCs go into LEDCs and bring along with them their Western culture, the local culture there gets lesser (blah blah)."

I'm pissed that my point can get SO out of context. SERIOUSLY LA.
Yeah. I'm pissy at these things cos they're just so stupid.
